Located in the 1920s train cars in downtown Rockford, Reading Books is an open shop, in business since 1984. We specialize in genre fiction, but we also carry thousands of nonfiction titles.
We are right next to the White Pine Trail, just one half a block south of the Rockford Dam. The next time you are biking, hiking, walking your dog, cross-country skiing, canoeing or kayaking through town, be sure to stop in.
All of our books are graded when they are shelved. Since the condition of a book can change, due to customers browsing, please, check the Condition Guidlines link. We are always happy to provide a complete description or photos of books, just contact us at info@BooksinRockford.com
We have more than 100,000 books in stock and thousands more stored off the premises. But, remember we only have about half of our inventory listed here so far.
Please search or browse our inventory of hard to find, out of print, used, and rare books.
If you can't find what you what you're looking for, send us a want and, we will search our shelves for you.
